DPI ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENTS OF ALLEN SABRY AND PATRICK BLECK TO NATIONAL DIRECTOR POSITIONS

Ontario, California, July 18, 2008 – Jim De Keyser, President and Chief Executive Officer of DPI Specialty Foods Inc. announced today two key appointments to the Corporate Marketing Staff. Allen Sabry was promoted to the position of Corporate Director of Specialty Foods. Also Patrick Bleck has accepted the position of National Director of Cheese.

In his position, Sabry will be responsible for leading DPI in the marketing and planning of Specialty Grocery programs. He will be working with both retailers and suppliers nationally in this position. Sabry has worked in the food distribution business for over 20 years. In the past 14 years, Allen has worked with the Mid-Atlantic Division of DPI in both Sales and Marketing. Allen will report to, Frank Patrick, Corporate VP of Marketing and Purchasing.

Patrick Bleck has over 20 plus years of experience with DPI Northwest Division. His most recent position was General Manager of the Seattle Distribution Center.
Bleck will focus on initiatives nationally related to DPI’s large cheese business. In this role he will expand training and information programs to both customers and DPI associates. He will also be working with the suppliers of cheese products both internationally and domestic. Patrick will report to Mark Dahm, President of the Northwest Division.

These appointments compliment the current staff of National Directors for Natural/Organic, Kosher and Asian.
