Human Resources//Exec. Asst.

DPI Specialty Foods, a market leader in the food distribution industry, currently has an opening for an experienced Human Resources/Executive Assistant.

Assists with the maintenance of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the human resources function to ensure policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance

Performs administrative support for Company President and CEO

Assists in the communication of employee benefit plans such as 401(k), medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD, AD&D, EAP and Workers’ Compensation insurance

Coordinates pre-employment paperwork

Conducts new hire orientations
 
Enrolls new hires into applicable benefit programs and processes changes
Ensures all employee paperwork (I-9, W-4, DMV, auto insurance) is completed correctly and in proper time frame

Assists with payroll processing

Coordinates company activities & events

Performs switchboard relief

Assists with other projects as necessary

Requirements

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential documents
Strong skills with Word and Excel required
Experience with Ceridian E-Source payroll a plus
Must be detail oriented, organized, self motivated, dedicated to customer service
Able to successfully work independently
Must have strong work ethic and flexibility as well as effective communication skills
