Human Resources Manager

DPI Specialty Foods, West, the largest full-service perishable bakery/frozen goods distributor, and the leader in Asian, Natural, Kosher, and Hispanic food sectors, currently seeks a Human Resources Manager to join the Human Resources team at the Ontario, CA office!

• 5-7 years prior experience in the Human Resources function, preferably as a generalist in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• B.S degree in Business or similar relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Federal and multi-state labor laws.
• Excellent people skills including the ability to resolve employee conflicts within the organization.
• Must have a willingness to train and be comfortable with public speaking. Prior experience creating and delivering training programs required.
• Must be organized and able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills required - both written and verbal.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Complete proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Some travel required.

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for planning and administering policies and programs relating to all phases of Human Resources activity such as training, employee relations and recognition, legal compliance, compensation, recruitment and retention, FMLA, workers' compention, etc.
