Merchandiser

DPI Specialty Foods Northwest, the Northwest's leading specialty food distributor, currently seeks a Temporary Merchandiser to merchandise/stock specialty dry food products to retail grocery chains in the North Seattle, Everett, and Linnwood area. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with experience who wants to earn extra cash during the Holiday Season!

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in retail food operations.
• Working knowledge of the grocery business.
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to communicate and interact with others effectively in a professional and flexible manner.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Basic mathematic skills.
• Valid state driver's license, clean DMV record, and proof of auto insurance required.
• Must pass background check and drug test.

• Merchandise store shelves. Maintain store shelves to standards of DPI and customer.
• Check shelves and backrooms for overstock, proper product rotation, and dates.
• Maintain regular contact with existing customers to field problems, concerns, and complaints resolving customer-related issues.
• Delivery & pick-up of products and equipment when necessary.
• Keep informed of new products and other general information.
• Other duties may be assigned.
