Operations Analyst

DPI Specialty Foods, a market leader in the food distribution industry, currently has an opening for an experienced Operations Analyst.
 

• Utilize tools to monitor the health of the DPI ERP system and IT Infrastructure.
• Proactively respond to alerts and error conditions.
• Maintain system and Infrastructure documentation, system Run Books, daily operations schedule.
• Monitor system interfaces and respond accordingly to issues. 
• Develop and maintain metrics to measure performance of the operations team and ERP system.
• Support disaster recovery plan for remote facility by insuring that all daily DR processes are followed.
• Manage the daily backup jobs and ensure all critical systems are backed up according to their schedule.
• Manage the schedule of daily recurring jobs. Make sure jobs start and stop on-time. Make sure there are no conflicts in the daily job schedule.
• Act as escalation point for Operations team. Act as liaison between operations team and other IT teams, as well as client community.
• AS/400 knowledge is a plus.
• BA/BS degree in MIS or MIS/IT certification preferred.

This position is directly responsible for the Operations and Support of the DPI ERP (Oracle EBS) system and supporting Infrastructure. The Operations Analyst will ensure optimal system availability through the use of system monitoring and systems management tools. The Operations Analyst will be part of the 24x7 operations staff.
